MyRoadbook

The project

MyRoadbook is a travel diary for journeys of every kind — by motorcycle, bicycle, camper, or on foot. It takes the raw GPS data from your trip — from a tracker you carry or fit to your vehicle, or a GPX file you upload — and turns it into a beautiful, searchable log of where you've been.

Bring your own tracker

The platform is tracker-agnostic. Today it natively ingests Teltonika devices (Codec 8 Extended over TCP), and you can always upload a GPX file from any trip or any device. Support for more trackers is on the roadmap.

Automatic trips

Rather than making you log every trip by hand, MyRoadbook detects Trips automatically: it finds where you stopped for a while and splits your track into the individual trips between those stops, computing distance, duration and route for each.

Adventures

Group related trips into a named Adventure — a weekend loop, a summer tour, a cross-continent expedition. Attach a planned GPX route to compare your plan against reality, add photos and videos, and export a printable recap or a GPX of the whole journey.

Yours, and private by default

Your data belongs to you. Everything is private unless you explicitly choose to make a profile, trip or adventure public. You can invite friends to view or contribute to specific trips, export all your data at any time, or delete your account entirely.
